Montana State Takes Perfect Record Into Brawl Of The Wild.

The Montana State Bobcats have done it again. Although for the last few minutes of the 4th quarter, Bobcat Nation was collectively holding its breath in the end. However, the Cats remained perfect on the season moving to 11-0. MSU found a way to close out the game with a win and that's what championship teams do.

Not only did the Cats remain undefeated but they also claimed at minimum a share of the Big Sky Conference Championship.

The Cats were on the road taking on the 4th-ranked UC Davis Aggies, and for most of the game, it looked like MSU would win easily. However, Davis came storming back with minutes remaining in the game, and in the end, it was a Bobcat interception on a two-point conversion play that sealed the deal.

While this has been an amazing year for the Bobcats, it's not over. We still have one remaining regular season game before the playoffs and of course, that game is the biggest regular season game of them all.

We're talking about the 123rd meeting of the Montana State Bobcats vs the University of Montana Griz. Some call it The Brawl of the Wild, some call it Cat/Griz or Griz/Cat, whatever you call it, it's the biggest game in Montana and it happens this Saturday, November 23rd at Bobcat Stadium.

What's on the line?

The Cats look to redeem themselves after losing last year to the Griz in Missoula. This year the Cats have a perfect record of 11-0 on the line, while the Griz come in with an 8-3 record.

Even though the Cats have the playoffs locked up, nothing is bigger than Cat/Griz and how fantastic would it be to end the regular season with an undefeated record knowing that the last victory came against your biggest rival. There's a lot on the line for the Griz as well. A win against the Cats on the road would not only be impressive but would help their chances in the playoffs as well.

While The Brawl of the Wild is always the biggest game in the state, this year it's even bigger. One team continues towards perfection while the other looks to play the spoiler and it all happens this Saturday in Bozeman.
