Seriously.  I couldn't even make this stuff up.

A Florida hog hunter said he accidentally shot his girlfriend because he thought she was a wild hog. According to police, 52-year-old Steven Egan said he was hunting in Flagler County, from inside his tent,- when he heard a noise he thought came from a wild hog he had seen just minutes earlier.

He shot at it with his .30-caliber rifle, not realizing his girlfriend Lisa Simmons was not inside the tent with him.

Simmons was airlifted to the hospital after the bullet went through both of her legs. No charges have been filed.
