Joey + Rory have canceled their remaining 2015 Farmhouse Concert dates after receiving devastating news about Joey's cancer battle.

The husband-and-wife traditional country duo had Farmhouse Concerts — which are intimate performances in the concert hall on their farm in Tennessee — scheduled for Nov. 6 and 7 and Dec. 5, 12 and 19. They canceled the shows after getting the terrible news that Joey's cancer -- for which she recently underwent grueling surgery, radiation and chemotherapy -- has not responded to treatment, and there's nothing else that medicine can do.

“It is with great regret that we must cancel our November and December Joey + Rory Farmhouse Concert dates effective immediately due to Joey’s health,” they say in a statement posted to their website. "Thank you for your understanding and prayers.”

Ticketholders to the Farmhouse Concerts will be reimbursed. Fans with questions need to contact farmhousedistribution@gmail.com.

The couple have made the tough decision not to seek further treatment for Joey's cancer. "So we did what you do when the medicine isn’t working, and the doctors are at a loss…and when the ‘statistics” say you can do more chemo, but it will only buy you a little time…" Rory writes in his blog, This Life I Live. "We came home. Not to die. But to live."

They are holding strong in their Christian faith even as they face this heartbreaking news head-on together, and they are asking fans for their prayers. "While we prepare for what God has put in front of us… Joey and I will continue to pray for a miracle," Rory writes. "We ask for your prayers too. For a miracle. And even more so, for peace with His decision.

"That is enough."
