Montana Chosen For Red Clay Strays First Ever Fan Fest
January is always a fun time of year in the music world because many bands begin rolling out tour dates, special shows, and fan-fests. It gives us something to circle on the calendar and plenty of time to start planning ahead. One announcement that dropped just a few days ago immediately caught my attention, one of my personal favorites, The Red Clay Strays.
The Alabama-based group has had an impressive run recently, and now they are bringing that momentum straight to Montana. The Red Clay Strays are heading to Rexford, Montana, June 24th-28th. Waaaaay up in the north west corner of Big Sky Country. According to the band, they chose Rexford simply because they love it there. If you have ever spent time in that area, that checks out.
Over the last few years, The Red Clay Strays have stacked up some major milestones. They earned top honors as a rising artist at the 2024 Americana Awards. Then they followed that by a big win at the 2025 ACM Awards for new vocal group or duo. Their breakout song “Wondering Why” has reached triple platinum status and they even took the stage at the 59th annual CMA Awards.
