Montana is a fantastic place to enjoy outdoor concerts and festivals. It's something everyone looks forward to when summer arrives. The epic landscapes provide the perfect backdrop for live music, and the atmosphere is simply electric.

However, it's a bit of a bummer that Bozeman often gets overlooked when it comes to major headliners, thanks to our limited venue options.

Unlike other states in the country, we do not have any professional sports teams here in Montana, so there aren't any big stadiums for artists to fill. The closest stadium we have to be considered a large venue is the Washington-Grizzle Stadium in Missoula, with a max capacity of around 25,000.

Wouldn't it be great to see some big-name acts gracing our beautiful town? Well, the chances of that happening have become way more likely as soon as the Bobcat Indoor Athletic Center is completed.

Why Isn't Bobcat Stadium Used More Often For Concerts?

Currently, Bobcat Stadium is the only practice field available for our beloved Bobcats to hone their skills. However, with the construction of the new indoor athletic center, Bobcat Stadium will be freed up for more possibilities! The completion of the new facility is expected by the end of spring 2025; fingers crossed!
