Stand-up comedian Matt Rife recently performed in Montana and took some time to explore the state.

Matt Rife is one of the most popular comedians in the world, and fans were excited to see him on his Stay Golden World Tour in Billings, Montana, on June 14.

It appears that Rife had some downtime while he was in Big Sky Country. He shared photos of himself and a few friends hanging out in the mountains on his Instagram page, and even stopped into a couple of local businesses.

Matt Rife Was Spotted at a Popular Bozeman Restaurant

Hooked Sushi in Bozeman shared the image below on social media.

We're not sure how many other businesses he visited, but it's pretty cool that he spent some time in Bozeman, even though he wasn't performing here. No offense to folks in Billings, but there are several places in the state that are much more beautiful. In addition to patronizing local businesses, Rife built his own shelter, went camping, shot guns, rode horses, and sang a few songs around the campfire. I think most Montanans would approve. He didn't book a stay at a luxury resort. Instead, he roughed it in the woods. Check out the pictures he shared from his time in Montana below.

I hope Matt Rife enjoyed his time in the Treasure State and comes back in the near future to perform again. We could all use a good laugh.
