Is this the mysterious Yellowstone “Train Station”?
With Harrison Ford sightings all over town over the last week or so and production crews set up in front of Butte's Front Street Station, it's really no secret that the "Yellowstone" television series prequel, "1923" is hard at work here in the Mining City. In fact, Mr. Ford was recently spotted with Uptown Butte's Irish Johnny from Shawn O'Donnell's.
This is Season 2 of "1923" that is in production with Season 1 being filmed in and around Butte as well. As we saw during their last stint in town, "1923" does not skimp when it comes to sets, props or detail. The transformation of Broadway Street a couple of summers back displayed the intricate detail, even down to the print on the set's posters, that goes into each episode.

It is worth noting that most of the above photos were taken from a huge set that produced scenes that were very either very brief or left on the cutting room floor altogether. This shows their keen attention to even the smallest of details.
The "1923" ensemble is hard at work in Butte again, this time on Front Street. You can even see the "Yellowstone Dutton Ranch" logo boldly emblazoned on some of the set's heavy machinery.
What's notable is the location. The filming is taking place at the Front Street Station. A train station.
Anyone who's seen "Yellowstone" is familiar with what a trip to the "train station" means. Is there any connection here or is this particular train station just, well, a train station? What is the significance of Livingston, Montana?
Passenger cars can be seen on the rear tracks and since train service in Butte has been gone for decades, we can assume that this is part of the production as well.
The only certain thing is that we have more questions than answers at this point and just like last time, the real fun will come when the finished product is released a few months from now.
