Ok, it's time to get down to business. When it comes to burgers, Montana has plenty to choose from, but when it comes to the very best, who reigns supreme?

Well, that of course is debatable. For whatever reason, folks love burgers, and why not? You've got a bun, you've got meat, you've cheese and different toppings, I mean the possibilities are endless, right? There isn't much you can't put on a burger, and we love our burgers here in Big Sky Country.

We've chatted about the best burgers in the state before, in fact, several times. The Burger Dive in Billings, Back Country Burger in Bozeman, Mark's In & Out in Livingston, and Nap's Grill in Hamilton are just a few that can make a case for the crown.

However, what if I were to share with you a burger that's considered by many to be the very best in the state, and is only available a few days each year? It's so good that people stand in long lines just so they can enjoy this heavenly creation, of course, I'm talking about Montanan's one and only Catholic Burger.

The Catholic Burger has been around for more than 75 years and is without a doubt something people look forward to each summer.  What started back in 1940s as a way to raise funds, has become a tradition that families have enjoyed for a few generations.

Each year, during the Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede, the Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish of Wolf Point sells Catholic Burgers into the early morning hours, and according to folks who are part of the Parish, once the line starts, it doesn't stop until the Stampede ends on Sunday.

So what's the secret to this delicious treat? Well, some say it's the fact that the fried onions are soaked in pickle juice.

This year's Stampede is happening this weekend, so if you're looking for some fun and possibly the best burger found in Montana, you'll want to head over to Wolf Point, check out the rodeo, and grab a Catholic Burger or two.
