WalletHub released stats on The Best States to Retire in 2020 and Montana is pretty high up on the list.

Montana is ranked at #12 and the states that surround the 406 are ranked high as well(Utah, Wyoming and South Dakota).

Montana got high marks for Best 'Taxpayer' Ranking' and one of the highest populations for people 65 years old or older.

Many folks would agree that Montana is ideal to retire, but the problem is that several towns are too expensive to live in, and that includes Bozeman.

With the cost of living rising, people are being driven to surrounding towns or even out of the state to find a comfortable place to retire.

So is Montana really one of the best places to retire?
