As an Irishman (well, at least part), I take great pride in my heritage. However, even I was a little surprised by what Montanans picked as their number one go-to for St. Patrick's Day.
Zippia put together data from all 50 states to discover which dish was the most popular in each state. So, the question is, what dish did Montanans say is their favorite? According to the website, the most popular dish for St. Patrick's Day in Montana is corned beef hash.
I'm not going to lie; while it's not my favorite, I'll eat it. However, I can think of a few different dishes I would rank above it. Irish stew, Guinness stew, and shepherd's pie, just to name a few. However, according to this, the people have spoken, and corned beef hash it is.
For those of you looking for some top-notch corned beef hash, there are several places around Montana where you can get your fix this St. Patrick's Day. Storm Castle Cafe, Bacchus Pub, and Jam in Bozeman offer up delicious versions.
