And The Award For Montana’s Ugliest City Goes To…
Here in Montana, we take pride in our state.
Not only is Montana the 4th largest state when it comes to land mass, but we also have a vast variety of scenery. From the plains to the mountains, Montana has a little bit of everything.
All across The Treasure State, you will find charming towns filled with charming people who are the lifeblood of this great state. However, some of those cities and towns might seem a little bit more appealing than others.
We all know that towns like Livingston, Whitefish, Bozeman, and Missoula are known for their beauty. Of course, there are several other Montana towns that you could add to that list, but what about the towns that aren't so charming?
Before we reveal what one social site has called the ugliest in Montana, let's look at the most dangerous towns in Montana.

Which Montana town is considered the ugliest in the state?
I'm not a big fan of the term "ugly". I'm a believer that one person's junk is another person's treasure. We all have our tastes, likes, and dislikes. So to call something ugly is a matter of personal opinion, right? Plus, every town has its own history that makes it cool in some way.
However, according to one social site, the ugliest town in Montana is one of the state's most popular.
Now before you jump the gun and shout out "Butte" you should know that Butte was not named the ugliest town in Montana. That distinction goes to the city of Great Falls. according to Shareably.

Why was Great Falls named the ugliest town in Montana?
Shareably went on to say the following about the Montana town:
"Great Falls is known for its proximity to natural wonders like the Missouri River, but its city center tells a different story. Aging infrastructure and monotonous urban planning make it less visually appealing. The city could shine brighter if its urban core reflected the beauty of its natural surroundings."
It seems the folks at the website think Great Falls could use a bit of a facelift. However, my question is, have those behind the article ever been to the town? Have they spent any time there? Great Falls has a lot going for it with lots of great places to check out, a cool art scene, and some wonderful places to eat and be social.
