Evacuations Ordered In Pony Fire

An evacuation order has been issued from the vicinity of Pony down to the Judson Mead Indiana University Research Station at the junction of South Boulder Road and Carmichael Road.

The local fire incident command team will shortly be transitioning from Type 3 (Agner) to a Type 2 (Kusico) National Incident Command Team for the complex of fires (Pony and Antelope).

The general public is asked to avoid driving Whitetail road north of Whitehall in order to allow firefighting operations to be conducted as effectively as possible.
