Celebrate the Renaissance with MSU's School of Music!

Growing up a choir kid, I was always performing in one way or another. When I was in high school, the Varsity Choir put on an event called the Madrigal Dinner. It featured Renaissance themed food, fanfare, and of course, wassail.

On Dec. 3rd and 4th, MSU's School of Music will host their 51st Madrigal Dinner, in the ballrooms of MSU's Strand Union Building. Seating begins at 6 p.m.

For two nights the MSU Strand Ballrooms will be transformed into a great baronial hall. MSU catering will provide a traditional Renaissance dinner with a gourmet twist, knaves and wenches perform traditional carols sung for centuries during the twelve days of Christmas.

The event is fun for the whole family, and it will surely get you in the Holiday spirit!

Tickets are $35 You can get them at the Bobcat Ticket Office in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse, which is open 9 a.m-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Parking for ticket buyers is provided in the lot directly below the ticket office. Tickets may also be purchased over the phone (994-CATS) or online at ticketswest.com (search “Madrigal Dinner”).
