Dirtiest Items In Hotel Rooms

I found a list of the most contaminated surfaces in U.S. hotel rooms, other than the toilet and sink.

I am a known germaphobe.  I take my disinfectant with me and wipe these items down.  Hotel rooms gross me out...even more now.

According to the study the TV remote and the bedside lamp switch are the most contaminated.  Then, the headboard, curtain rods and bathroom door handle.

Researchers found that housekeepers spend about 30 minutes on each room, and hope the study will allow housekeeping managers to start new cleaning practices.
