It is finally almost here! Considered, "Montana's Biggest Weekend". We look forward to this specific event every year as we hope for great weather and prepare to have the best time ever.
The annual Dillon Jaycees Rodeo kicks off on Saturday the 31st, continues into Sunday, and closes the event weekend with a parade on Monday. The "Biggest Weekend in Montana", is packed with professional cowboys and cowgirls of the Professional Rodeo Circuit Association.
Saturday and Sunday's timed events include:
- team roping
- steer wrestling
- tie down roping
- barrel racing
Saturday and Sunday rough stock events include:
- bareback riding
- saddle bronc ring
- bull riding
You will also get to see the wild horse race and wild cow milking.
If you plan to attend the rodeo on Sunday there are numerous different events to get excited for as well, including a concert after the rodeo is complete.

Who is performing at the Dillon Jaycees Rodeo this year?
Shane Smith & the Saints with special guest Colby Acuff. September 1st at the Beaverhead County Fairgrounds after the Sunday rodeo performance. Gates open at 7:30. Shane Smith & the Saints are featured in Season 4 of Yellowstone.

On Monday, September 2nd you can watch the annual parade. If you want to participate in the parade, the deadline for judged participants is the 23rd of August. If you don't want to be judged, but still want to participate in the parade, entries will be accepted until 9:30am the morning of the parade.
