An explosion in a factory in Japan has the ability to create a shortage in Diapers.  The factory is one of the primary suppliers for one of the super absorbent materials found in most diapers.  The explosion killed 1 emergency responder and injured 35 others.  According to the Telegraph, the water-absorbing polymers soak up an infant's waste through hydrogen bonding with water molecules.

I've been having a hard time trying to decide what type of diapers I'm going to use.  I imagine this explosion isn't really going to cause that much of a shortage, it's probably going to increase the price of diapers.  What do you think?  Would you change over to clothe diapers to save some moneyLet us know.
