A local Manhattan, Montana couple, Chris and Natalie LeMay, are currently trying to collect 25,000 pairs of shoes. The goal is to collect enough shoes to earn money so they can adopt a son or daughter from China.
But first, they need shoes! All re-wearable shoes are welcome as they will be given a second life. All kinds and sizes are needed. The couple has teamed up with a group that enterprises footwear for third world countries such as Tanzania, Colombia, and Haiti.
Currently, there are public drop sites in Bozeman, Belgrade, and Manhattan:
  • Play it Again Sports
  • Ace Hardware  on Huffine
  • XL Country Studios at 125 Mendenhall
  • Grace Bible Church on 19th
  • Rocky Mountain Supply in Belgrade
  • Manhattan Athletic Club
  • Camp Creek Coffee (free latte with shoe donation) in Manhattan
