A fun holiday tradition in Downtown Bozeman, take the family for all kinds of fun to kick off the holiday season!

Daytime “Stroll” activities include: Gingerbread House making at the Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture and live performances at the Bozeman Public Library (times vary, check separate schedules within program for more info). For a list of activities and times check out the “Official 2017 Christmas Stroll Program”, which will be inserted into tomorrow's (December 1st) edition Bozeman Daily Chronicle on Friday, and online at www.dailychronicle.com. *The Christmas Stroll is FREE, except for activities that require the “Official 2017 Christmas Stroll Button” for ONLY $4, which helps support the event. They are available at various locations around downtown.

Here is a general schedule:

*4:00 PM - A ONE-WAY Horse-Drawn Wagon Ride from the Bozeman Public Library to Rouse and Main Street.
4:00 to 7:30 PM - 2017 Gingerbread House Contest at the Jacob’s Crossing Lobby at 424 East Main Street.
4:30 PM - The Christmas Stroll Parade begins with the lighting of the Emerson Center tree on their north lawn. The lighting ceremony continues down Main Street from Grand Avenue to Rouse Avenue with the Chief Joseph Middle School Choir.
4:30 to 7:30 PM - Main Street is filled with over 40 Food Vendors, live music, carolers, hot air balloon demonstrations, and Other Festive Activities.
4:30 to 7:30 PM - Downtown Businesses feature live music, free cocoa and cookies, and holiday fun of all sorts. In-Store Activities.
*4:30 to 5:30 & 5:30-7 PM – Baxter Ballroom: The Hawthorne School Choir & Kendra Noyes and Tristyn Fleming in the Baxter Ballroom, kids decorate cookies and ornaments while waiting for a free picture with Santa (5-7:30pm).
*5:00 to 7:30 PM ONE-WAY Hay Wagon Rides at Soroptimist Park (corner of Main and Rouse) to the Bozeman Public Library.
