This is a letter from the Downtown Business Association in response to several requests to change the date of this year's Christmas Stroll, due to the conflict with the Cats home playoff game.

To our Friends, Neighbors and Members of the Bozeman and MSU Family:

As many of you have heard, the NCAA has scheduled the MSU Bobcats’ second-round FCS playoff game for 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. which is the same day as the 32nd annual Christmas Stroll scheduled from 4:30-7:30 p.m. The Downtown Bozeman Association has received several phone calls and emails requesting that the Christmas Stroll be changed to a different date or time so that there are no conflicts in attendance for either event. After carefully reviewing all and feasible options, we have concluded that we are unable to reschedule the stroll at this late date. Planning for the Christmas Stroll, one of Bozeman’s most beloved traditions, has been ongoing for nearly a year. There are hundreds of people and volunteers, involved in the organizing and implementation of this event to make a last minute change. Another factor is our marketing materials, posters, buttons and Event Schedule have already been printed and distributed.

Please know that our blood runs blue and gold and there is no one more saddened by this unforeseeable conflict than our organization. We wish the Bobcats the best of luck and will be cheering them on from downtown.

Thank you,
Downtown Bozeman Association Board
