Celebrate 80 Years of History at Bozeman’s Kimpton Armory Hotel
Did you know it’s been 80 years since legendary architect Fred Willson first built the Armory to house the Bozeman National Guard unit of Montana’s 163rd infantry?
That's right! The Armory is turning 80 this year, and The Kimpton Armory Hotel in downtown Bozeman invites everyone to take part in the 80th Anniversary Celebration.
The Armory was originally built in 1941. The structure was built for the Montana National Guard during World War II. The building was designed by Fred Willson.
Saturday's event will take place in the Armory Music Hall, a fully restored historic venue located inside of the stunning Kimpton Armory Hotel. The stage in the music hall features some of Willson's original designs.
The Kimpton Armory Hotel opened in August of 2020, is excited to celebrate the storied history that comes with the building. In honor of the building's 80th birthday, there will be 80 cent beers and 80 cent glasses of wine. There will also be complimentary small bites.
The event will also feature live music from Paige & the People's Band. There's a suggested donation of $10 per person, and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Warriors & Quiet Waters Foundation. The ownership has agreed to match 100% of all donations.
Head to the Kimpton Armory Hotel after MSU's Military Appreciation Game on Saturday for a fun-filled evening at the Kimpton Armory Hotel.
Don't miss a celebration of one of Bozeman's most iconic buildings.
