Bozeman Woman Hopes To Be Crowned Miss USA: Want to Help?

A Bozeman resident crowned Miss Montana is now competing for the Miss Continental Worldwide and Miss USA title in an upcoming pageant in Salt Lake City, Utah. Here's what you need to know.

Bozeman resident Nikole Drummond is representing Montana in the Continental Worldwide Pagent, and she needs your support in order to make her dream a reality.

The Continental Worldwide Pagent is happening in Salt Lake from August 10-12. According to Drummond, the pageant will include everything from ball gowns to fitness wear and fun outfits. Her platform is mental health advocacy and education for all Montanans and she wants to help spread the word about resources available for Montana residents dealing with mental health issues.

It's a passion of mine, and I've been working and volunteering for organizations across Montana for many years. It means so much to me to help people and get them into facilities so they can receive the help that they need.

In order to help get the word out about resources available to people suffering from mental health issues, she partnered with Mental Health America of Montana.

Here's How You Can Help

On Wednesday, August 2, Drummond will be hosting a fundraising event at the American Legion in downtown Bozeman beginning at 6:00 p.m. The funds raised at the event will help Drummond continue her efforts and cover the costs of events and the national competition.
