Despite falling behind on Montana's first play from scrimmage, Montana State University led for most of the game and held on for a 24-17 victory over the Grizzlies in the Brawl of the Wild in Missoula.

The play of the game came for the Bobcats came with 4th and 1 at the Montana 29 yard line with just 2:40 left to go in the game. MSU coach Jeff Choate decided to go for it, rather than try a field goal or punt. On the ensuing play, Bobcat QB Chris Murray hit TE Connor Sullivan for 26 yards and a first down at the Grizzly 3 yard line. The Bobcats then ran out the clock for the victory!

Murray led the Bobcat offense with 142 yards rushing and 2 TDs. Gunner Brekke, the senior from Helena, MT, closed out his Bobcat career with 96 yards rushing. Click Here for complete stats.
