This year marks the 13th annual “Can the Griz Food Drive,” an off-field competition between MSU and the U of M to see which school can collect the most donations for their local county food banks.

Starting November 3rd, please bring nonperishable food donations to participating grocery stores, businesses, banks, and churches throughout Bozeman as well as various locations on the MSU campus and at Ressler Motors to support those in need in Gallatin County. A complete list of participating locations can be found at http://www.montana.edu/engagement/programs/can-the-griz.

Bobcat supporters can designate their contribution to MSU by telling the Gallatin Valley Food Bank or collection location host that their donation is for the Can the Griz Food Drive.  If getting to a collection location is inconvenient, then donations can be made online at http://www.gallatinvalleyfoodbank.org/sub/contribute/donate-online by selecting to donate to the Can the Griz program. The competition ends on November 17th at the conclusion of the first quarter of the Brawl of the Wild football game between MSU and U of M and the winner will be announced during the third quarter.

For more information or to host a collection box, please contact Joe at 994-7571 or by email at joseph.webster@msu.montana.edu.  Coordinated by the MSU Office of Activities and Engagement and Gallatin Valley Food Bank and sponsored by Ressler Toyota.
