[Breaking News] Yellowstone River Now Open in Spots

Here is a news update that was released today from Fish, Wildlife  Parks regarding the opening of parts of the Yellowstone River.

-Hwy 89 North bound Fishing access is now open to 212
Shields River still CLOSED.
-Yellowstone River From Carbella to East of Livingston at Hwy 89 access still closed to all access.
-Yellowstone River from Gardiner to Carbella OPEN to Recreation Use only ...NOT to Anglers.
-Tributaries of Spring Creek, Depuy's and Armstrong are OPEN to Anglers.
More to come as they keep testing weekly. PLEASE USE RINSING STATIONS. PLEASE USE CAUTION CLEAN YOUR BOATS, DRY THEM AFTER, GO TO CAR-WASH AND RINSE THEM BEFORE YOU GO ON RIVER SO WE DON'T MOVE BACKWARDS ON THE HEALING OF THE RIVER.

Two weeks ago the Yellowstone River was closed from Gardiner to Laurel after thousands of whitefish in the river were found dead from an unknown parasite.
