Bozeman Mystery Solved: Man Found After Jumping in Bozeman Creek

Bozeman police had been searching for a man who jumped into Bozeman Creek behind Bar 9 Thursday night. Despite an extensive search, Bozeman police were not able to locate him, until today.

The man contacted police on Saturday after learning that they had been looking for him. He's OK, and said he was not aware that police had been looking for him until he read the press release.

According to the man, whose name has not been released, he went into the creek to retrieve a flip-flop and got out on the other side, then walked home.
