Bozeman Area Live Music This Weekend: Prong to Jazz Piano

Snow is coming next week! Good metal, bluegrass, country, jazz and more are on the table for you this weekend around the Gallatin Valley. Live music is good for the soul.

Thursday, October 7th: The Bridger Creek Boys at Red Tractor Pizza - (1007 West Main, Bozeman) Happening 7pm to 9pm. The Bridger Creek Boys are Matt Broughton (Fiddle, Mandolin), Jim Dungan (Guitar), Scott Stebbins (Bass), and Andrew Schauer (Banjo).

Thursday, October 7th: Matt Miller LIVE at Stacey’s - (Gallatin Gateway) Performing country/western music, covers and originals. Music starts at 7pm.

Thursday, October 7th: ORNJ at El Camino Bar - (211 East Main Street, downtown Bozeman) No cover charge. FB page says music starts at 10:30pm but that seems like a late start to us, FYI. Just sayin'.

Friday, October 8th: Sam Platts and the Plainsmen LIVE at Stacey’s - (Gallatin Gateway) Music starts at 9pm. $5 cover at the door. Old time country/western music and bring your dancing boots.

Friday, October 8th: Jazz Night at Red Tractor Pizza - (1007 West Main, Bozeman) Happening 7pm to 9pm. Cheyenne John-Henderson on piano, Eddie Tsuru on bass, and Adam Greenberg on drums.

Saturday, October 9th: Brandon Hale LIVE at Stacey’s - (Gallatin Gateway) Music starts at 8pm. Brandon is the frontman for Montana’s best outlaw country band, the Dirty Shame.

Saturday, October 9th: PermaFunk at Red Tractor Pizza - (1007 West Main, Bozeman) Happening 7pm to 9pm. Funk, soul, psychedelic, latin fusion grooves! Inspired by the creativity and passion of the 1970s.

Sunday, October 10th: Black Label Society at The ELM - (506 North 7th Avenue) Black Label Society at The ELM with Obituary and Prong. 6:30PM (door) 7:30PM (show). All ages show. Tickets $37.50 (Adv.) + applicable fees.

Sunday, October 10th: Sacred Songs on Sunday - (5123 Cimmeron Dr, Bozeman) Happening 1pm to 2pm. Suggested donation is $10. "Do you love the idea of singing sacred songs together but get a little scared of Sanskrit? Then this Sunday is for you! Songs and chants all in English. Western and Eastern themes. Come join us for a special back porch kirtan event! Approximately an hour. All are welcome."
