Bozeman Airport Hits New Record, Will It Be A Problem?
If you are planning on flying out this summer, you might want to get to the airport earlier than usual.
KBZK reports that the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, Montana's busiest airport, has served over 2.2 million passengers since June 2021. Back in January 2022, it was the first time that the Bozeman Airport hit over two million passengers in twelve months.
Listen, this news is fantastic for the Bozeman Airport, but this means the Bozeman Airport will get busier this summer when the tourists start coming into town. We already know of Montanans driving to Bozeman to use the airport for the cheap flights, and the Bozeman Airport knows they need to catch up on the infrastructure.
We even did a story about one huge change the Bozeman Airport needs to add for the foreseeable future. The Bozeman Airport plans on building an expansion to the parking lot as soon as possible to handle the influx of passengers. That's great to hear!
The only problem now is the terminal. The terminal is still relatively new to the Bozeman Airport and is a vast space for folks to stretch out and get food, but with all the people traveling, it's still jam-packed.
What I honestly believe is that Bozeman Airport needs to possibly add a new terminal to handle all of the new passengers. This new concourse will help relieve the crowds and is a fantastic opportunity to bring in a couple of new, exciting food options. The food options are fantastic in the Bozeman Airport, but they are always filled.
The Bozeman Airport has put a lot of time and effort into improvements and expansions, and we are guessing there will be more on the way.
