Double Front Chicken is one of the most iconic restaurants in Missoula is known for its top-tier friend chicken. You can get white meat, dark meat, sandwiches, and more. You might have to wait a while to get your dinner because they make everything to order and fresh. 

I try to go to Double Front Chicken every time I visit Missoula because this place is always fantastic. Their restaurant has so much character, and you know that you will be getting a delicious meal every time you go there. Plus, they added a bar downstairs so you can have a drink while eating delicious fried chicken. It's a win-win. 

The thing is, not everyone wants to drive to Missoula just for fried chicken. So where can you get great fried chicken locally? Well, we have some great places to choose from as well. We recommend Roost Fried Chicken on Main Street. They have been featured on Diners, Dives, and Drive-Ins. Their chicken and waffles are top-notch. The only other spot we would recommend is Bourbon on Aspen St. Their fried chicken is awesome, and they have a Nashville Hot option too.
