Yellowstone National Park hosted over 800,000 visitors this past August. Heading into September the park had seen 3,114,696 visitors this year, that's down about 20,000 visitors from last year through August.

Is it me, or did it seam like we saw less stupid incidents in the park this summer than we did in recent years. I mean we still had a guy petting a bison, and a small child being tossed into the air by a bison (see below), but overall, it feels to me like the tourists actually exhibited pretty good behavior. With over 3 million people making their way through the park, you're always going to have a few knuckleheads.
