It’s been nearly two months since a Montana doctor went missing. Now, the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Department has issued a news release, asking that, as the hunting season approaches that people keep an eye out for any sign of him or anything out of the ordinary.

On July 4, Dr. Patrick Fitzpatrick’s abandoned vehicle was discovered at the edge of a bean field south of Willow Creek. The area was searched, but no signs or evidence of his whereabouts were found.

The Gallatin and Madison County sheriffs’ offices received reports that Fitzpatrick was seen at the Harrison Volunteer Fire Department’s Fourth of July barbeque, but both the Madison and Gallatin county sheriffs’ offices have been unable to confirm that he was indeed at the barbeque.

With hunting season soon starting, the sheriff reminds the public that Fitzpatrick is still missing and asks that anyone hunting or recreating in the area to please keep an eye out for any sign of Fitzpatrick or anything out of the ordinary.

Fitzpatrick is described as 6’0”, 240 pounds with white hair. He was last seen at a bank in Bozeman on July 2, 2015, wearing a green polo-type shirt and brown pants. You are asked to contact the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office at (406) 582-2100 or the Madison County Sheriff’s Office at (406) 843-5301 with any information.
