4 Kid-Friendly, Bozeman Area Events Happening This Weekend
Need some fun with the kiddos after a cold, snowy week? The Bozeman area has several family friendly events happening this weekend.
Friday, November 11th: 70's Roller Nights at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds - (901 North Black, Bozeman) Happening in Building #1. DJ Swoon will be spinning the best of the Disco Era. FOR THOSE THAT OWN SKATES!! Kids Skate 5pm-7pm (All kids must be accompanied by a parent/guardian) All Levels Skate 5pm-7pm. LESSONS 6pm-7pm : $10 (basic skating going forward **without falling** required) Adult Skate 18+ 7pm-9pm : Trick contest, Costume Contest. Some skates available for rent at additional charge but sizes are limited. Hosted by Biome Slow Craft Collective.
Saturday, November 12th: STEAM Saturday at the Science Station, Montana Science Center - (2744 West Main Street, Bozeman) Happening 10am to Noon. All Ages | Included with Admission or Membership Pull up a stool at the Science Station and discovery a hands-on science activity. STEAM Saturday features a community member in a STEM career.
Sunday, November 13th: Kids Event with Author and Musician Buck Buchanan at The Jump - (75770 Gallatin Road in Gallatin Gateway) FREE community event starting at 3pm. Snacks will be provided. Join Buck as he reads his new book Denni-Jo and Pinto, and having a fun musical activity! Other activities will include Word Wrangler, Buckaroo Color-Along, and Cowpokes Crossword!
Sunday, November 13th: Flip the Switch Night! for Belgrade's Festival of Light - Happening 6pm to 7pm at Lions Park, 92 E Cameron Ave, Belgrade. Hosted by the Belgrade Community Coalition. Be one of the first people to walk through a luminous outdoor winter wonderland while you help us count down to "flipping the switch" and turning on the Light Park for the season. The Mighty Spork will be onsite with warm food and hot drinks.
