Your XL Country Afternoon host is a born and raised Montanan, a Marine Corps Veteran, and a Bobcat! Russell grew up in far eastern Sidney, Montana also known as "Almost North Dakota!" In 1999 he moved to Great Falls, Mt where he graduated from GFHS in 2003. After graduation he enlisted in the Marine Corps. Russell had a successful four years in the Marines, but decided after his third tour in Iraq that he wanted to go to college. So at the end of his enlistment he moved to Bozeman. Since in Bozeman hes been a somewhat typical college kid...Changing his major a couple times... almost getting his degree... drinking... floating... camping... Skiing ... working three jobs at once... and most importantly loving his wife Shayla!

Ice Climber Takes A Scary Fall [Video]
An ice climber in the U.K. is alive after losing his footing and falling 100 feet down the side of a MOUNTAIN. I know we have a lot of Ice climbers around the Bozeman area. Be careful out there! The man is climbing and a piece of Ice comes down and hits him, he looses his grip and then the slide begins.
North 7th Ave- I90 Construction Begins March 11th
If you thought traffic was bad at times in Bozeman, well, it's about to get worse! The I-90 and 7th Avenue bridge and interchange will be getting expanded and rebuilt. I think this is a sign that Summer is getting close!
