This years St. Jude radiothon was absolutely the best I've ever seen.  Over the past few years we have done pretty good, but we had a goal we wanted to reach... Making it past that $100 K mark.  And This year we did it thanks to S.W. Montana!

When asked to step up to the plate and help the kids of St. Jude... Southwest Montana Delivered!

The $117,076 our listeners donated helped KXLB-FM and KZMY-FM hit a huge 11 year total of $1,066,796!  I have to say, there has been a lot of hard work over the years to get the St. Jude Radiothon to this point.

Pete Hanson is the man who started the radiothon here on XL Country.  Pete battled cancer himself and fell in love with the St. Jude mission. During the first radiothon, Pete stayed on air the entire time without taking a break (according to the legends.)  Although Pete has moved on to bigger and better things, the legend of Pete continues with Colleen and Erin.  These two ladies worked hard to get the radiothon back up to the 100K level.  Colleen was relentless with her doubling of goals and then reaching them!  Erin has worked hard to get the St. Jude mission on our sister station MY103.5.

All of this hard work would mean absolutely nothing if it wasn't for our amazing listeners.  I truly don't know how to thank you enough.  All of our Partners in Hope, all of our one time donors, and all of the kids who emptied their piggy banks for the kids of St. Jude.  We really do live in an amazing place.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I can't wait to continue this amazing tradition, The St. Jude Radiothon is going to get bigger every year and it's all thanks to Southwest Montana.  $1,066,796 in 11 years....
