It seems during the St. Jude Radiothon Business' are always stepping up to help end childhood cancer, and this year is no different.  Town & Country Foods is a great local asset here in Bozeman, and they have decided to help beat childhood cancer.  There are so many reasons we love St. Jude, one of the big reasons is how St. Jude cares for the entire family, which reminds me of Town and Country Foods.  T&C Foods is helping families of St. Jude by becoming a sponsor for the St. Jude Radiothon.

Since T&C Foods is on an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, that means employees own a little bit of the store.  I feel like my entire family is taken care of when I go to T&C Foods.  They have a great selection of local products and produce.  They are one big family at T&C Foods and they will treat you just like family.

It is very similar at St. Jude; Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, and Sisters are all cared for.    When a young child goes to a hospital, that child's siblings can be overlooked and their needs not met.  That is one of the many differences at St. Jude.  They ensure that siblings receive counseling, and understand what is happening with their brother or sister.

St. Jude Philosophy on Family Centered Care:

When coming to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, each parent grapples with challenges regarding medications, medical procedures and boo boos that cannot be kissed away. For the parents of children who are battling devastating diseases, so much is out of their control.

But thanks to the hospital’s philosophy of family-centered care, parents and their children are given a voice and a sense of control during an arduous time.

Thank you to T&C Foods for helping the kids of St. Jude in there battle against cancer!

The St. Jude Radiothon will be March 7th, and 8th from 6AM - 7PM.  Tune in to find out how you can help stop cancer.
