The older I get, the less I like being inconvenienced.

I realize that I'm not very far from being that angry old man yelling at people to "stay off my lawn", but I feel like this is a universal thing that is happening. We have been made to believe that we are all in such a hurry, so when we do have to wait, we don't do well with it.

Think about it.

Everything in our lives is meant to make it more convenient. We have drive-thrus for everything, and now, we don't even have to do that; we can just use DoorDash or some other app that will bring whatever we want to our front step.

I bring this up because so far this summer, Yellowstone National Park is seeing a whole lot of folks visit. YNP recently made the list of the places with the longest lines for waiting.

Yep, even National Parks have lines that make you wait.

Before we tell you where Yellowstone ranks, let's check out the best National Parks in the country.

America's Top 10 Best National Parks

America is filled with stunning scenery, and much of that can be found in the many National Parks located across the country. There are 63 National Parks across the United States, and we take a look at the Top 10 and see where they're ranked. And just where do the two popular Montana National Parks land on that list?

Do you have to wait a long time to get into Yellowstone National Park?

McLuck compiled data from TripAdvisor to see which popular tourist attractions require the longest wait, and Yellowstone National Park landed in the Top 20. Yellowstone ranks 16th on the list, with almost 3 percent of the reviews mentioning that the wait was a drawback from their visit.

Oh, and in case you're wondering which popular attractions ranked ahead of YNP, places like The Space Needle, Dollywood, The Liberty Bell, Disney World, Graceland, and the St. Louis Arch all rank ahead of Yellowstone.

I suppose the truth is that if you're in a hurry, Yellowstone National Park might not be the best place for you to visit. There is a lot to see, and there are speed limits and wildlife throughout the Park. So, if you're hoping to buzz on through, you might want to consider visiting someplace else.
