Montana Wrong Way Driver Victim Seeks Justice And Help
Another crash involving a "wrong way driver" happened again here in Montana. This is not the first, the second, or even the third wrong way driving incident that has occurred this year.
Multiple lives have been lost this year due to intoxicated drivers who took it upon themselves to have alcoholic beverages, get behind the wheel, put the vehicle in drive and take zero consideration of what their actions could do.
Selfishly, these drivers put the lives of others into danger. Everyone knows that when you drink alcohol your driving becomes impaired. I don't know what needs to be done to help prevent people from getting behind the wheel after drinking, but something needs to happen.

On July 10th, 24-year-old Taylee Bornong was heading home from work when a wrong way driver was heading westbound in the eastbound lane when the person crashed into Taylee causing severe injuries. This was at 6 PM.
According to Taylee's Go Fund Me page that was set up by her cousin, Alecia Dahlquist: :
Taylee was driving on interstate after work at roughly 6PM Wednesday when she was struck on her driver side by a drunk driver who was driving the wrong way in her lane. She was flighted to Billings, Montana and admitted to ICU. -Go Fund Me
Alecia also made an extremely valid statement. This incident was completely preventable. If you drink, don't drive.
Taylee will have a long road ahead followed by many medical bills including ambulance ride, flight, ICU stay, surgeries, PT, missed work, etc. -Go Fund Me
If you are able to help Taylee and her family during her time spent recovering, please do. Prayers to Taylee for a fast recovery.
