Yes, it's true. The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory on Sunday for Bozeman area mountains above 5500 feet. The advisory is in effect until noon on Monday.

Anywhere from 3 to 7 inches of snow is expected. The NWS says to watch out for slippery road conditions and periods of reduced visibility. The weight of the snow on branches with foliage could cause them to break. Wind chills could also make temps feel like they're in the teens.

As for weather down in the Gallatin Valley, we're expected to have rain on Monday with temps in the 40s. Up to a quarter inch of rain is expected.

As for the extended forecast, the rain will give way to partly cloudy skies on Tuesday and by Friday they're predicting highs in the mid-80s for the Bozeman area.
