Winter Weather Advisory Issued for SW Montana

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Gallatin, Beaverhead, Jefferson, and Madison counties 9 p.m. Monday evening through noon on Tuesday.

With this advisory we can expect:

• 1 to 3 inches of snow in the valleys
• 4 to 8 inches of snow in the higher elevations
• Strong winds gusting up to 35 mph
• Heavy wet snow
• Patchy blowing snow
• Slippery road conditions
• Low visibility
• Difficult travel especially for mountain passes
