After last year's fantastic run that took us all the way to the National Championship game, there is little question that Bozeman and much of Montana is Bobcat crazy.

Of course, we're just a little over a week away from the first game of the season, however, if you've ever dreamed of putting on the blue and gold and taking the field at Bobcat Stadium, here's your chance.

The Montana State University Bobcat football team is having open tryouts this Saturday.

What an amazing opportunity, right? I mean, to be able to actually try out for the team, how cool is that? For all of you 'Uncle Rico's out there, you should know that there are some requirements that you have to meet before trying out.

In order to try out, you must be a full-time student at Montana State University. If you are indeed a full-time student and think you have what it takes, then you're going to want to be at Bobcat Stadium this Saturday at 1 pm at Gate 3 for your shot.

So what do you need to bring to tryouts?

A post on the official Facebook page for Montana State University Football says you should bring the following:

  • Running Shoes
  • Workout Clothes
  • Cleats
  • Required Forms

Once again, open tryouts happen this Saturday at  Gate 3 at Bobcat Stadium at 1 pm. We wish all of those trying out the best of luck and as always, Go Cats Go!
