As more and more Montanans shop online, we continue to see the closing of brick and mortar stores, and it looks like that trend is continuing.

While it started years ago, we've seen an uptick here in Big Sky Country over the last few years. Businesses can't afford the rent, or the company has figured out they can make more of a profit some other way, and soon those buildings are a thing of the past.

It seems you can add another brick and mortar business that is closing up shop here in Montana.

Which Montana business is closing down?

While Eddie Bauer has already closed up shop and moved out of Montana, they're not the only ones. Because of restructure within the company, another long time business is throwing in the towel here in the Treasure State.

According to The East Coast Traveler, Walgreens will be closing all of it's Montana locations before the end of summer. A quick search on Google shows that Walgreens has 13 locations across the state, and if the source is true, all of those will be shutting down.

You can go to the Walgreens website and they do address stores closing and what you need to do on your part.

For many customers, this will end a long time relationship, and then comes the hassles of getting everything switched over to a new Pharmacy, dealing with new staff, and all of those things that come with it.

Once again, according to the source the closures will happen soon, so if you are a customer of Walgreens, it might be best to switch now than later.
