Montana Ranked Among Least Romantic States. Who’s First?
Valentines Day is just around the corner and if you haven't made plans for you and your loved one, time is running out.
For many couples a romantic dinner with some flowers is a popular choice, however, many of the more popular restaurants here in Montana are already booked. Oh, and let's be honest, flowers just cost more on Valentine's Day. So, if you are planning on going that route, don't be surprised when you get the bill.

You could always take advantage of the unusually warm winter and maybe do something outdoors. Perhaps a romantic camping trip? Maybe a little campfire cuisine?
Whatever you do, you should do something because according to one source, Montana is one of the less romantic states in the country. Yep, you read that right. It seems we don't grasp the whole concept of romance here in Big Sky Country.
How unromantic is Montana?
Here's the good news while we are one of the least romantic states in America, we're not the most unromantic state in America. The honor goes to our friends over in Wyoming. Oh, and there are a few other states that are ranked higher than us when it comes to not bringing the romance. Alaska, South Dakota, Vermont stand between us and the Cowboy State.
If you wondering how the folks over at Innerbody came up with their ranking system, it was through the help of online research. They searched for romantic terms in all 50 states per the internet and it seems like here in Montana, we don't do that so much.

I should note that doesn't mean we're not romantic, it just means we don't spend time searching online for the following topics:
- Love Letters
- Marriage Proposals
- Anniversary Ideas
- Romantic Movies
