The first major storm of the season hit this morning in the Bozeman area bringing with it snow and icy roads. We're expecting roads around the Gallatin Valley and over to Livingston to get worse as the day goes on. We'll post updates here to help you plan your commute.

Bozeman Pass

4:45 p: A driver heading over Bozeman Pass says that the roads range from dry, to wet, to slush, to ice and the plows are out and crews are spreading gravel. Backup heading eastbound on I-90 from Livingston back to O'Rea Creek Road.

2:46p: Both directions are closed on I-90 between exit 330 & 337. This is also causing major traffic backups in Livingston on some of the main streets.

12:50: I-90 eastbound is currently closed near Livingston due to semi-trucks blocking the roadway. Traffic is being diverted through Livingston. Vehicles must exit at mile marker 333.

11:46: I-90 westbound is currently closed at the 337 due to multiple semis that have roadway blocked. West bound traffics is being diverted through Livingston until roadway can be opened.

11:00am: Traffic remains backed up eastbound on I-90 to Bear Canyon due to earlier accidents. Westbound traffic from Livingston to Bozeman is moving fairly well. Roads are still slick and visibility is reduced in some areas.

2:50p: I-90 Westbound after 19th. Accident involving a semi. Down to one lane.

11:00: Norris Road is very slick with limited visibility. Snowing heavily between Black's Ford & Four Corners

Bozeman to Big Sky

11:00: Snow & Ice being reported.
