Am I a terrible friend/co-worker? I moved to this lovely city over a month ago and no one from work helped me unpack my moving truck. I didn't have any friends yet, so that also wasn't an option. Here is my dilemma, a co-worker and friend is finally moving all his stuff here. His wifey and pups are finally joining him on this new journey, and I am being summoned to help unload their moving truck. I don't want to. I feel like I am being guilt-tripped into this, I mean, I had to put together this person's grill when he got it as well, so that tells you how handy he is, HA!

Here is the other thing, when I moved here, my moving truck was like fifteen feet, his is like twenty-plus feet. So you know they have that thing jammed full of stuff. What kind of hauling equipment do they have? A dolly? A cart? Please tell me they have some sort of something with wheels because otherwise, I will be reaching out to all of you for the best chiropractor.

I also have no idea when this "unloading party" is going to start. I am the type of person where I just want to get things done, especially because it is clear I don't want to do this. I legit want to just haul it all into the rooms it should be in and they can unpack and figure out where everything goes after I leave. Let's hope this is the case. Let us also hope this is all taking place over lunchtime, then they can at least grab lunch as my payment. Dinner time would work also, a cold beverage would be ok as payment as well.

The move to Bozeman, or anywhere for that matter, is never easy. Especially the unpacking part, so I guess I will just pull up my big girl pants and pray for lunch or a cold adult beverage after all is said and done. Derek, you owe me!
