Trail Creek Fire

At 4:15 PM, the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a fire in the Trail Creek area close to I-90. 

Eight Gallatin County Deputies responded along with the Sheriff’s Office Command vehicle.

Officials issued approximately 25 evacuation WARNINGS to  residents in the Mountain Moose Road area .

No roads were closed and there were no structures damaged.

Fire agencies including Fort Ellis, Central Valley, Rae Sourdough, Gallatin Gateway, Bridger Canyon, Amsterdam, and the Gallatin National Forest provided 50-60 firefighters along with the DNRC helecopter.

Fire command expects containment this evening.
