Things to do to Become a Bozeman Local – Cat/Griz Game
When I asked about things I had to do to become a Bozeman local, many people said to go to a Cat vs. Griz game. I was able to do just that this past weekend.
The first game was the women's basketball game. I went with my friend Will and we both had a great time. We were able to sit in the second row, which put us right next to the action. The fans provided a very electric atmosphere which really enhanced my expierence. The ladies battled back and forth to the very end and beat the Griz 61-52. That game was one of the best basketball games I have been to in a long time.
The second game was the men's game. There were over 5,000 fans in attendance and were very energetic. I was about ten rows back, which was still a great seat. I really like how the Worthington Arena doesn't have a bad seat in the house. The men played a very competitive game, but ended up falling to the Griz 80-72.
Overall, I really enjoyed both games. The Brawl of the Wild is one of the biggest rivalries in the country, so being able to be there for two games was something I will not forget. I can't wait to see my first Cat/Griz football game!
