This is the first year for this summer outdoor series of 3 free concerts at the Bozeman Public Library. You definitely don’t want to miss the second installment on Sunday, July 31st, as the BPLF brings the ever so popular Pinky and the Floyd local tribute band to the Library Plaza.

As anyone who has heard them before knows, Pinky and the Floyd is a real treat (which is why we are proud to have them in the Spruce Moose Festival lineup). They have recently been called the Northwest’s Hottest Pink Floyd Tribute Band and have been selling out venues across the state. So you definitely don’t want to miss this free concert on Sunday, July 31 from 4-7 pm on the Library’s front outside plaza.

According to the official Pinky website, “We’re not doing Music on Main. We’re not doing the Bite of Bozeman. We’re not doing Sweet Pea…but we are rockin’ the front lawn at the Library! It’s our big FREE public summer concert.”

The final Day on the Green summer concert will be on August 28th and will feature the Hooligans for the second Jerry Garcia tribute concert with a mix of Grateful Dead tunes and classic rock. Each show will provide food vendors from MacKenzie River Pizza, Not So Famous BBQ, and the Italian Ice stand, as well as Lindley Perk being open inside the Library for coffees and other treats. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

You can contact BPLF director Paula Beswick at 582-2426 or email director@bozemanlibraryfoundation.org for information about the Foundation or this free concert series.
