Montana State (2012): MSU’s starting Mike linebacker after starting for most of 2012… named a D’Agostino Family Strength Award winner for the spring.

(2011) Registered an outstanding season as a sophomore… played in all 13 games, starting the last 10… finished the season with 37 tackles, including 2.5 for a loss… was in on five tackles against Weber State and NAU, and also picked off an NAU pass… led the team with three interceptions, including one - along with–a near miss – in the playoff loss to Sam Houston State… forced a UC Davis fumble.

(2010) Logged seven tackles as a true freshman… recovered a fumble against Washington State… played in all 12 games, largely as a special teams standout.

High School Earned first team all-district honors as a senior, leading his team to the Texas 5A Cahmpionship… also teamed with current Bobcat quarterback DeNarius McGhee to lead Trinity to the 2008 state title.

Personal Born Sione Na’a Moeakiola on July 20, 1992 in Euless, TX… one of six children of Sione and Ana Moeakiola… his brother Saia played football at Midwestern State

Moeakiola, a 5-11, 217-pound junior from Euless, Texas, tallied a team-high nine tackles – including five for loss – with a sack in No. 3 Montana State’s 20-17 road win over Sacramento State. The five tackles for loss are the most by a Big Sky player this season. His sack helped forced the Hornets to attempt a 53-yard field goal, which was no good. MSU’ defense forced four turnovers and held Sac State to 82 rushing yards
