Some Locals Have Big Problem With Montana’s Boring Towns List
Well, that escalated quickly.
Last week, I wrote a post about the 10 Most Incredibly Boring Towns in Montana. I thought it would be a fun little post that ended up getting under the skin of some Montanans. I said in the article that the reason why I chose these places was from personal experiences growing up, and this is how I felt.
Well, I know that some people think I am out of my mind with my choices. My sister commented on the story and told me, You are a menace. I didn't mean any harm, but I have to face the music right now.
Here are a few of my favorite comments from 96.7 KISS FM and Newsbreak.
- Several people said, If you don't like Montana, then leave!
- One man asked if I was from Montana or San Francisco, then told me to go back where I come from! Also, this guy somehow made it political and said I was stricken with the same disease as most liberals.
- One lady said This article is pointless and rude!
First off, I want to say I am very sorry that the article came off as rude. That was not the goal of the post, but if you read the post, you would understand the reasoning behind every town I chose. The article was from personal experiences, and throughout my life, I never had fun while visiting any of these places.
Also, the guy who told me to go back to where I come from, that's a short four-hour drive for me to see my parents and I do that all the time during the summer. If you don't know, the town I grew up in Polson is located in Montana. So I do have some understanding of what places are fun, and what towns are boring.
The people that know me thought the post was hilarious and agreed with my choices. Then again, most of you don't know me personally, and I truly apologize if I offended you.
