UPDATE: The Winter Weather Advisory has been extended until 9 a.m. Monday morning. Roads are very icy from the snow overnight.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Bozeman area today. Snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is possible in the Gallatin Valley with 4 to 8 inches in the local mountains. The advisory is in effect from noon Sunday until 5 a.m. on Monday.

Wet roadways are likely to freeze over and become icy Sunday
