Here in the Bozeman area, it looks like we're going to get another day near 60 degrees on Friday before a major storm drops down from Canada on Saturday. Snow accumulations are expected to be between:

  • 1-3 inches in the valley.
  • up to 8 inches in the higher elevations of the local mountains.

A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect for the Gallatin Valley on Saturday. The snow is expected to begin on Saturday morning and last throughout the day. It's a short storm that should be moving out by Sunday morning.

This will also be a cold storm with wild chills making the temps feel like single digits on Easter Sunday morning. Flash freeze conditions are possible on roads as melted show on roads could turn quickly to ice.

What do you think? Will it be our last big snow storm of the season?
